Computer protection from outside threats.

Computers nowadays are mostly interconnected with one another. You may find it when you are playing online or multiplayer games on the internet or in a gaming shop. The internet played a major role in information resource since everyone now relies on it's power to give valuable and raw data. There are million computers worldwide that are getting interconnected to the internet.

The internet is an important source for information, but it could be destructive. Viruses, worms, trojan horses and hackers are the major problems internet and computer users usually encounter. They are program codes that exploit a user's computer especially when connected to the internet. They could compromise and hijack your system without knowing it. Causing your computer to crash and lose valuable files. Hackers are not programs. They are people who write malicious code intended only for one purpose...to gain popularity, steal bank accounts and password and to create destruction. So how can you be protected?

 

Software you must have to be protected when your online.

My computer is fully protected from such threats. There are no guarantees that your computer will not be infected or exploited by a hacker. These software offers great protection and a must be for every pc users. These are some software that I used to protect my pc:

+Norton Internet Security with Norton Anti-virus

_____These software I must strongly recommend. It's not just protect you from viruses but to outside hackers as well. You can regularly update the virus definition and the software so it will protect your pc with the updated protection. Also their website offers a free online scanning of your computer to know if your pc is protected or not.

+Ad-aware

_____If you like surfing the net, download files or chat in the internet, you must have this installed on your PC. I find it a very good software available to remove those unwanted spyware and adware that comes with when you download files on the internet. Adwares and spywares are mini programs that slows down your computer. It loads when you are connected and surfing the internet, pop-ups will always appear... these take much of your RAM and crashes your PC. Ad-aware really does it's job removing them. It's effective and I've tried it on my 2 PC's.
