Mozilla's Firefox Web Browser
One day I surf the the net for some information regarding news about the new topics involving computer and such high techie stuff. I came to this website "www.neowin.net", dedicated to tech news. On the upper left corner, there are list of new software news available to be read. I saw the name Firefox and immediately click the link to open. At first, I didn't know what Firefox was until I found out through the page that it was a web browser. I read all about the features and the requirements of the browser and find it quite more interesting and I should give it a try. I downloaded the software onto another computer to see if it works well.
The Test...
I was totally blown away! I mean, really, this software rocks! It acts and looks like the popular Internet Explorer of Microsoft. The difference is, Firefox is much faster when surfing the web. Aside from that, Firefox is user friendly and very customizable. You can actually tweak the browser on how it can function and run depending on your customizations.
Therefore...
I give it a 5 out of 5 stars! For me, when it comes to security.. Firefox is a must. Internet Explorer was the most popular web browser on the market. Normally, it is prone to hackers and virus writers all around the globe. That's why they have realeased numerous updates and patches just to cover the holes of that browser. If your practical enough... why go for the popular when there are several free browsers on the market that simply do just the same or greater than that.

Windows Media Player 10
Windows has finally released it's newest version of media player, the WIndows Media Player version 10. It features a new "glassy" look specially on the buttons. At first glance, there is no major change on the outlook of the new player. It's comparable to the earlier version specifically the button functions and the other menu and add-ons. Also, the website of the Media Player plugins offer a free download of a special AVS specifically for the new version. I find it quite choppy on my monitor when viewed in fullscreen. I guess my video card isn't fast enough to cope the new software. But I find it more amusing because of the moving clouds and fading effect of the title of the song while it is playing. Over all, I give it a 4 out of 5!
